My name is Rogelio Ramos, I was born and raised in San Diego, California by Mexican immigrants. As a family we relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah and lived there for about 15 years .I started my college career at Salt Lake Community College where I obtained my Associates Degree. Upon completion I transferred to the University of Utah and graduated with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a minor in Human Development.
GO UTES!! This is my 4th year at CFT Elementary and my seventh year as a teacher. In the past I have taught both 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. In my mind I believe that each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. Children are individuals that need a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which they can grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. In my mind teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. As I share my passion about teaching I would like to instill social life skills to all my students. I feel that there is compassionate, strong and dedicated individuals are key elements in providing a successful education experience. Children have also taught me to open my mind to the joys, the innocence, and diversity of ideas around the world. I will never forget how to smile with the new, cherish the old, and laugh with the children. |
